Visitors with an eye for the arts will find plenty to do – and see – on the University 阿肯色校区. The 校园 has long supported the performing and visual arts through academic programs and public offerings.

The 富布赖特和平喷泉 and Sculpture in the center of the university’s 历史 校园 core highlights the U of A’s collection of outdoor art. 赛拉斯·亨特追悼会 sculpture and Courage to Lead, a bronze sculpture by Native American artist Denny Haskew, are also located in the same area of 校园.
美术中心, built in 1950 and designed by renowned architect Edward Durell Stone, features the Fine 艺术 Gallery, Fine 艺术 Library, the University Theatre and Stella Boyle Smith 音乐厅.
The Fine 艺术 Gallery features a robust rotation of exhibitions of student artwork 在所有媒体中. Open every day except Saturday, the gallery sometimes displays the work of visiting artists and professors, who also provide lectures and guest studios.

The Chi Omega希腊剧院 is a popular place for concerts, pep rallies or simply enjoying the sun between classes. Chi Omega, founded at the U of A in 1895 and now the largest women's fraternity in the nation, donated the theatre in 1930.

The Spoofers Stone has been a traditional place for marriage proposals since the 1800s. The stone still sits where the builders of 旧主 left it on the front lawn.

Il Porcellino
